The event will take place on July 9th-12th in Bad Arolson,

The venue for the March 20th show in Philadelphia has been changed. It was originally going to be at Grape street, but now the show will be held at Joker's.

On December 13th, 2008 DORO will be celebrating "25 years in Rock" with a special show. The concert will be held at the ISS Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany. Germany's AFM Records has issued the following update:
"Over the years, the very special, deep friendship between metal
queen Doro Pesch and [German] boxing queen Regina Halmich became
obvious to anybody. Especially for Regina Halmich's [final] fight
on November 30th, Doro wrote the new song 'The Queen' which will
be Regina's anthem for this special evening.
"To share this special event with all the fans of Doro, Regina and
the millions of TV spectators, Doro will not only perform 'The
Queen' at fight night but also her new CD 'The Queen' (a
collection of all fight hymns Doro sang for Regina) will be in
stores on November 30th!"

On November 20th DORO will be releasing a new specially priced CD/DVD in North America via Locomotive Records. The title is "All We Are: The Fight". The release will feature a newly recorded version of the WARLOCK classic "All We Are" featuring Schmier of DESTRUCTION on bass, AFTER FOREVER guitarist Bas Maas and well known European studio drummer Tim Husung. On April 17th Doro appeared at the record release party for the female
fronted Dutch act AFTER FOREVER. The event was held at Tivoli in
Utrecht, Holland where Doro joined the band on stage for two songs,
including the track "Who I Am" from the new self-titled AFTER FOREVER

Sorry for the lack of updates in the past few months. I've had
some health issues which I hope are in the past.
On February 23rd and 24th 2007, DORO will be a special guest at German Metalband EDGUY's 15th year anniversery in Angersbach, Germany.
It now appears that after several years, DORO will be returning to the states this summer for some shows. I'll add the full dates as soon as I receive them. The only thing that has been confirmed so far is June 11th at B.B. Kings in New York City. Stay tuned for details...

DORO To Release Special 'Winter Edition' Of 'Warrior Soul' In November:
German hard rock singer DORO will release a special "winter edition" of her latest album, "Warrior Soul", on November 20 through AFM Records. Dubbed "20 Years A Warrior Soul", the set will include the regular album plus a bonus DVD featuring footage from Doro's December 2003 20th anniversary gig in Düsseldorf, Germany and a CD containing new/previously unreleased tracks. A special "fan box" will also be included, according to a posting on the AFM web site.
"Warrior Soul", was released
in North America in May via Locomotive Records. The CD was created in
Switzerland, Tennessee, New York and Germany; and inspired by her first feature
film role earlier this year in Luke Gasser's "Anuk - The Warrior's Way". The
sound returns Doro to the ways of her first band, WARLOCK, which she fronted to
forever change the face of modern metal music. It stands in perfect contrast to
her last opus, 2004's "Classic Diamonds", in which she stretched out to perform
decidedly non-metal ballads and mid-tempo rockers with a symphony orchestra.
Here — with bassist Nick Douglas, guitarist Joe Taylor, keyboardist Oliver
Palotai and drummer Johnny Dee — Doro is back to major league metal form,
hard-charging through 12 tracks in a beefy 54:10.

*In April DORO will be talk guest of a new German TV Show called "Queen Mania". She will be seen in the complete show and will talk about her new album "Warrior Soul".
*On March 9th, 2006 a photo shoot for the motor cycle company Yamaha will take place. DORO will present the new street quad YFM-R for the company and will also be part of the complete advertising campaign for Yamaha.
*The US clothes company Edy Hardy is also very interested in working with DORO. At the moment they are checking ways of cooperating and if everything works out all right DORO will be presenting their clothes as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith is doing it at the moment.

It's done! The new album "Warrior Soul" is ready and will be released on March 27th, 2006 (March 24th, 2006 in Germany). The reactions to the album are overwhelming so far. The regular album contains twelve great tracks and the limited edition will have two bonus songs. This album surely presents DORO from her strongest side presenting both great metal hymns and wonderful ballads. Its time for heavy metal again, guys!!!

The Smoke At The Water festival that DORO was
scheduled to play on September 3rd has been cancelled due to heavy flooding in
Thierhaupten, Germany. The organizers are looking into rescheduling the
event.

Doro will be playing an acoustic set at the Smoke At The
Water Festival in Thierhaupten, Germany on August 27th. Doro's set will
begin at 4pm.

Doro has re-recorded her song "She's Like Thunder" with German female boxing
champion Regina Halmich. The new version will be a duet with Halmich
re-titled "We Are Like Thunder". The song will be aired for the first
time on September 10th in Karlsruhe, Germany, at Halmich's 50th career fight.
The single will be released through AFM records on September 12th. It
will feature four versions of the song, including one song by Doro alone.
In November a new single will be released as a precursor to Doro's next full
length album, due out in March 2006.
In other news...
Doro will be featured on the a new track by German thrash legends DESTRUCTION. The song is titled "The Alliance of Hellhoundz" and will be included on their new album "Inventor of Evil", due out on August 22nd via AFM records. The song will feature a who's who of world renowned metal vocalist. In addition to Doro, also appearing on the track will be: Biff Byford (SAXON), Shagrath (DIMMU BORGIR), Paul Di' Anno (ex-IRON MAIDEN), Messiah Marcolin (CANDLEMASS), Mark Osegueda (DEATH ANGEL) and a few others. Rock Harz festival in
Osterode/Dorst, Germany. The festival will take place on July 8th & 9th.
No news yet on which day DORO will be performing.
*On Saturday, January 8th, Doro will be appearing at the City Hall in her home town of Düsseldorf (Altstadt), Germany with guitarist Joe Taylor to perform a three song acoustic set to aid the tsunami victims in Southeast Asia. Fans are invited to come out and donate what they can. Doro will perform between 4:00pm and 4:30pm.

September 16th. The show is called "DAS" and can be seen on NDR from 6:45 pm
to 7:30 pm. There is also a rerun at around 5:15 am.

(Germany) on October 9th, 2004. There will be an very special open-air-rock
concert in “Schloss Beck” and our Queen will be joining Uli John Roth on stage
to sing 3 songs with him.

tickets cost € 34,00 and € 38,00 (seats). Part of that money goes to a charity
project for children.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 8:00 pm.

AFM Records website has posted a sound sample of "I Rule The Ruins" from
Doro's "Classic Diamonds" album. They also have a short MPEG trailer
promoting the album. The album will be released in September and will be
preceded by an EP called "Let Love Rain On Me" in August. She will then
hit the road in Germany with the Metal Classic Night Orchestra. You can
see the dates below.

According to the Wacken Open Air web site, some guests
have been confirmed for Doro's appearance at this years festival. They
Include, Udo Dirkschneider, Blaze Bayley & Chris Caffrey of SAVATAGE.
They will perform with Doro and the Metal Classic Night Orchestra.
Doro is currently working with the Metal Classic Night Orchetra on her first album for AFM records titled, "Classic Diamonds". Tentatively due in September, the CD will contain reworked classics from Doro's 20-year career as well as several new songs which were specially composed for this project. An EP release will precede the album on August 9.

DORO has signed with AFM records. Her first release for the label will be a collection of her best hits
and other metal classics performed with the Metal Classic Night Orchestra.
The as-yet-untitled CD will include several special guests and will feature three new
songs specially composed for this project. A late 2004 release is expected. A
"taster" EP at a single price will be released on August 9.
